For my article, I chose to look at the story of the restoration and revival of my church building in the centre of Derby, which reopened in 2017 having been a derelict building, with the following as my proposal:
This is a story of how the interior architectural revitalisation and transformation of a once derelict building can breathe life into a city marred by its derelict buildings.
As a story about restoration and breathing life back into a derelict city, I chose a very clean and simple design. I wanted the story to speak for itself, through both the written content and photography of the building itself.
